These Terms govern your purchase and use of eSIM products sold by American eSims ("we", "us") through americanesims.com. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. Contact: hello@americanesims.com.
1. The service
We resell prepaid mobile data (and, for selected plans, voice and SMS) eSIM profiles for use in the United States, supplied by third-party network partners. Coverage is provided on partner networks (such as T-Mobile and AT&T) and is not guaranteed in every location.
2. Eligibility & device compatibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. It is your responsibility to check compatibility before purchase (see our compatibility checker). Incompatibility is not a ground for refund once the eSIM is installed or activated.
3. Orders, pricing & payment
- Prices are shown in EUR, GBP, or USD according to your region and include applicable VAT. The checkout currency and final amount are clearly shown before payment.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment partner. We don't store your full card details.
- An order is confirmed once payment succeeds and your eSIM is delivered on screen and by email.
4. Validity & activation
- A plan's validity period begins when the eSIM first connects to a supported US network ("activation"), not at purchase.
- eSIMs must be installed within 30 days of purchase unless stated otherwise.
- Each eSIM can be installed on one device only, once. Deleted eSIMs cannot be restored.
5. Fair use
Unlimited plans are for personal, non-commercial use. To protect network quality, speeds may be temporarily reduced after heavy daily use. Use for resale, servers, continuous streaming to multiple devices, P2P abuse, or any illegal activity is prohibited and may result in suspension without refund.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because an eSIM is digital content supplied immediately, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the eSIM has been activated. Before activation, our refund policy allows a full refund.
7. Liability
We are not liable for network outages, reduced speeds, or coverage gaps caused by network partners, nor for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Accounts
You may check out as a guest or create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login and your order links confidential — anyone with your QR code can install your eSIM.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which American eSims is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence in the EU/EEA. You may bring a dispute through the courts or consumer dispute-resolution body available under applicable law.
